Choi Jong-In
최종인 • S-Rank Hunter (Top Fire Mage)
“In a raid, one single hesitation burns your entire party to ashes.”
The sharp-witted Guild Master of Hunters—South Korea's #1 guild—and the nation's premier fire-elemental mage. Nicknamed 'The Ultimate Soldier', Choi combines calculating business acumen with destructive wide-area inferno magic capable of incinerating entire monster legions in seconds.
Origin & Backstory
A charismatic corporate leader who built 'Hunters Guild' into the only Korean guild boasting two native S-Rank hunters (himself and Cha Hae-in). With his signature tailored suit and glasses, he looks more like a Fortune 500 CEO than an S-Rank battle mage.
Power Awakening & Progression
During the 4th Jeju Island Raid, Choi demonstrated the devastating lethality of Korea's fire magic, single-handedly turning the main ant queen chamber into a swirling crucible of white-hot embers to incinerate thousands of mutant ant larvae.
Combat Arsenal & Signature Abilities
Long-range destructive pyromancy. Casts flame dragons, concentrated heat rays, and wide-area firestorms with pinpoint precision, destroying enemies without harming his vanguard allies.
Flame Dragon's Wrath
Manifests a gigantic serpentine dragon made of compressed white-hot fire.
Inferno Nova
Detonates the ground beneath an enemy formation, launching a pillar of molten fire into the sky.
Concentrated Heat Lance
Condenses fire mana into a laser-thin spear that pierces through reinforced armor and shields.
Tactical Raid Command
Flawless battlefield coordination, managing cooldowns and positioning of multi-guild strike teams.
Role in the Sovereign War & Legacy
One of the first guild leaders to recognize Sung Jin-woo's immense potential, repeatedly attempting to recruit him to Hunters Guild with record-breaking signing bonuses before graciously supporting Jin-woo's independent Ahjin Guild.
